This supersonic fighter was developed to replace MiG-25. It cost around $60 million dollar. It is currently in operation with Kazakhstan and Russia. Many variants of the aircraft were proposed, but most of them were never built in sufficient quantities, if at all.

The MiG-35 is an upgraded version of the MiG-29. It is categorized as a 4++ generation jet fighter by the manufacturers. Although it is currently undergoing extensive field tests and only 10 prototypes have been produced as of yet, it is the best MiG fighter in the Russian menu.
