A change in the antenna design of the revamped, cheaper iPhone 4 has been indicated by a series of its purported design photos.
The images show a frame without case joint on the top or either side of the top of the phone.
Present GSM iPhone 4 models sold by global carriers including AT&T have a single joint on the top, whereas, the Verizon CDMA model has two joints on either side of the upper end.
The modified case also seems to have incorporated a SIM card, something that only the existing GSM version of the current iPhone 4 has.
The key feature of the new iPhone 4 phone design, however, is anticipated to be its reduced cost, accomplished through the use of streamlined components and a relatively lesser 8GB of storage capacity.
