Apple’s family of notebooks has a notebook for everyone: the entry-level MacBook is ideal for students and casual computer users, the MacBook Air is perfect for the traveling businessman, and finally, the MacBook Pro is just about the right thing for everyone. And guess what? I’m not the only one who believes so – Consumer Reports also stated Apple’s awesome MacBooks with a lot of love.
The argument that Apple’s portables weren’t the best available has beyond doubt been put to bed, as the Cupertino company’s family of MacBooks now takes top spot in all categories on Consumer Reports.
The 11-inch MacBook Air picked up 62 points out of 100 to secure the top spot in the small laptops section. In the 13-inch model category, things became even worse for Apple’s competition, with the MacBook Pro really trumped its rivals to steal a remarkable five of the top seven spots with 76 points.
However, things were a little closer when it comes to 15-inch and 17-inch notebooks. Both took top three and top two spots respectively.
