Technology has evolved at an ever increasing pace for the last 50 years or so and automobiles are no exception. Engineering, safety and efficiency have improved to amazing levels and at the same time we have seen some feature disappear over time. Today, we take a look at 10 such features, which unfortunately gave way to today’s technology.
No 10. CB Radio
Back in the days, CB radios actually came as optional equipment on some cars and to some, these are cool and useful on long road trips even today.
Citizens’ Band radio is a system of short-distance radio communications between individuals on a selection of 40 channels within the 27-MHz band.
No 9. Headlight Wipers
To tell the truth, these only meant that you’ve got money. But the fact is, they were as useless as defunct they are today. The most helpful they would be if you lived in Antarctica or somewhere similar. Interestingly, they were required on cars by Road Safety Regulations in many European countries.

No 8. T-Tops
Maybe you even liked the T-Tops, but the fact is they weren’t just cool enough to last long. T-Tops were seen on American cars from 1970s to 1990s.
T-Top or Targa Top is a registered trademark of Porsche AG and was first used on the 1966 Porsche 911 Targa.

No 7. Swivel Seats
These quite useful seats allowed handicapped people to easily transfer in the car from their wheelchairs apart from being a fun thing for the kids.
