No 4. The Stellar spire

In the Eagle Nebula resides the creepy looking “Stellar spire”. It is a massive 90 trillion kilometers long. Stars are born in this spread of dust which actually is a cloud of hydrogen gas. The tower is eroding from the top as evident from the ultraviolet light that is emitted by the stars inside this shape.

No 3. The Majestic Sombrero Galaxy

In at number 3 is an image of a spiral galaxy residing in the Virgo constellation, also known as M104. So called because it resembles Sombrero, a broad-rim and high topped Mexican hat. The galaxy is just beyond the view of the naked human eye, it can be easily seen from small telescopes but not as seen it this image of course. This beautiful image is one that makes you wonder how beautiful the universe really is.
