How One Guy Turned a Block of Wood into a Pile of Cash…Amazing.

You just have to appreciate the results of one man’s creativity.

Randall Rosenthal, a professional wood sculptor from New York City, has transformed a seemingly ordinary block of wood into an extremely realistic-looking piece of art. If you go straight to the end result, you wouldn’t–even for a second–think that it’s actually a result of one man’s masterful artistry with wood sculpting.

This sculpture called “Cold Hard Cash” was carved out of three blocks of wood that are glued together. It was done with painstaking attention to detail because even just one small mistake would destroy the whole illusion, and he’d have to start from scratch all over again.

Randall finished his BFA studies at the Carnegie Institute of Technology on 1969 and has been creating magnificent works of art ever since. If this one masterpiece left you in awe, then by all means check out the rest of his work at his website: randallrosenthal.com!
