Jailbreaking the iPhone is a common practice of iPhone users. However sometimes while jailbreaking or installing application for jailbreaking, they get stuck in various problems. One of such problems is the iPhone freezes at Apple logo when restarted. There exists a solution to restore the iPhone, but for this you need to put the device to Device Firmware Update (DFU) mode. Follow the given steps to get your iPhone in DFU mode.
- Connect the iPhone to PC.
- Power off the iPhone.
- Keep pressing both the Home and Power buttons together for a period of ten seconds.
- Release the Power button after ten seconds; keep holding the Home button till you hear a beep indicating your device to be recognized as USB device.
- Launch iTunes and click “Restore”.
It is worthy to mention that sometimes to get your phone in DFU mode; you need to make multiple attempts. However once your iPhone is in DFU mode, you can restore it easily.
