Some users have pointed out an issue in iPhone reception that when they hold iPhone, they get reception problem. This statement looks strange but it is actually creating reception problem to iPhone users. Now Apple has confirmed this problem in their device and issued a tip to resolve it. In a statement from Apple, officials said that gripping any phone from certain places will result in decrease of its antenna performance. This is a fact for every wireless phone that if you hold it from certain place it effects on antenna performance.
If you experience this reception problem on your iPhone 4, you should do this.
- You should avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band.
- Or you should use one of many available cases. This is a solution which has been released by Apple to fix this problem.
So this reception problem is not software or any other issue but if you hold it from specific position, then you will face reception problem. If one finds this issue in iPhone 4, he/she should follow above instructions and hopefully there will be no more reception issue.
