This was produced by Peter Chinn for a National Geographic documentary that aired before, in which he utilized an innovative combination of dimensional ultrasound scans, tiny cameras, and computer graphics to come up with these awe-inspiring photos.
Don’t be disheartened just because these aren’t exactly real photographs. They do paint a relatively accurate picture depicting what these animal fetuses look like–and hey, it was actually featured in Nat Geo, so that makes it pretty reliable.
