Singapore opened its first mechanical forest to visitors late in this June. This forest consists of 18 of huge trees in the bay south garden.
The 18 large trees will act as vertical gardens with living vines and flowers. Moreover, 11 of these trees will have solar photovoltaic system to make some energy for lighting and for heating the steel framework that will help the cultivation of plant life on them. These huge trees vary in height from 25 meters to 50 meters. The big mechanical plants will also act as air venting ducts for the nearby conservatories.
