No 6. Prometheus
Release date: June 8
Prometheus follows a team of explorers on a ship of the same name that discovers a clue to humankind’s origins, leading them on a path that ends with a battle to save the future of mankind.
Scriptwriter Damon Lindelof had this to say about the movie: “Over time, the movie began to become much more original. Although there might be some familiar things from the Alien universe, this movie has a mind of its own.”

No 5. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Release date: June 22
This is the perhaps the ultimate retelling of Abraham Lincoln’s life, obviously not realistically. This film is based on the novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith, which follows the secret identity of Abe as an axe-wielding hunter seeking revenge on the vampires who murdered members of his family.
Here is a trailer of the book, if it helps, as the trailer for the movie isn’t out yet.

No 3. The Expendables 2
Release date: July 20
After watching the original, I definitely was left wanting for more of the jaw-dropping fights and explosions.
Some of the actors to appear in this movie are Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Van Damme and Norris – fetch that. The Expendables’ job for Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) goes wrong when an enemy (Jean-Claude Van Damme) kills one of their own. The team then sets out to destroy a deadly weapon and get revenge for their fallen brother.
