Busiest Train Station
Tokaido Shinkansen, the train station that goes from Tokyo to Osaka, transports the most passengers in the country. This high velocity train line takes care of 151 million passengers a year. Since it’s inauguration in 1964, it has carried more passengers than any other train station in the world. Each train in this station has over 1,300 seats available.
Peaceful Land
Japan is generally a very peaceful country with low crime rates. In fact, Tokyo City is the safest megapolis in the world. It is not strange seeing small kids taking public transportation without the company of adults.
