Now considered luxury glasses, the Ray Bans were actually developed to help soldiers during war. The purpose of their development was to create a type of lens that would prevent headache in military pilots during flight. In addition, the glasses did give the pilots a sense of style.

During the Second World War, British code-brakers developed a machine that would help them break codes faster and with more efficiency. This machine was named Colossus and it’s considered the first electronic computer.
