For most of us on the web google has become part of our daily lives. However, this is not the case for Chinese citizens. All extensions of Google, like Youtube, Gmail and Google+ are prohibited in China, along with the famous web browser.
The browsers that are actually allowed have many restrictions that don’t allow citizens to search certain topics. Still, Chinese web services have found ways to access these websites secretly.
