When the Daydream View headset is launched the first time around, it will only be available in one color called slate for both the headset and the controller. Later on in 2016, two other colors – “snow” and “crimson”, will be added with the controllers being off-white. Pre-orders for the Daydream will open on the 20th of October in the US. They will then go on sale at Best Buy, Verizon, and the Google Store in early November. The sale will also go on in Canada, Germany, Australia and the U.K at that time.
So far, Google announced that their new Daydream View will allow you to utilize Google’s Street View, Youtube’s 360-degree videos, and be able to watch videos on Hulu, HBO, and Netflix. They also announced a game that ties in with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. They will be revealing more details later.
