When compared to it’s competitor – the Gear VR headset, the Daydream View is much lighter with a weight of only 220 grams. It is also already made to hold phones which will end up supporting the platform in the future with hinges that can accommodate different thicknesses and even phone cases, as it currently only supports its new Pixel and Pixel XL phones.
