It’s a matter of time when Xbox and PlayStation controllers get obsolete and augmented reality takes place. No doubt Google Glass kick-started augmented reality, but this technology has a long journey ahead of it. Right now, Google Glass lets us do regular phone stuff with the help of our eyes; in the future, we expect much more exploration and advancement. One example of such improvement would be seeing an object, and smart augmented reality interface picking up all of its available data.
Gaming can turn into a totally mind boggling experience, the possibilities seem endless. We are able to currently do things like intelligent object recognition and emotion detection from facial expressions, but going beyond this will take some time.
