Both visual and hearing impaired, Winston is said to have mastered living without the two of these senses. Winston hails from a sanctuary for special needs dogs called Double J Dog Ranch in Hauser Lake, Idaho. Due to his condition, he requires special monitoring by handlers. The founder of Doube J, Christine Justus, shared that Winston relies a lot on his nose but still manages to get around very well. This might just give him an advantage as he will sniff out toys and score many touchdowns during the game.
