Another player slated to be running it out on the field is Doobert, was at the filming of Puppy Bowl with his new family Tom and Dianne Ireton. Doobert who is deaf, was adopted from Green Dogs Unleashed in Troy, Virginia. He is currently being trained to understand hand signals by his owners.
“Doobert is very visually focused, always looking to us and the other dogs for cues,” Doobert’s owner, Dianne, said. “We just want to give Dobbert the best opportunities that we can, because he deserves it. Other than not hearing, everything else is normal.”
