If you are color blind and have issues with it, then these new filtered glasses can do the trick for you. For example, many people suffering from color blindness are sometimes unable to distinguish between red and green at a traffic signal.
This new type of lens is called EnChroma and is the solution to color blindness issues. Since color blindness is present in different forms, various EnChroma lenses are available to solve all of those problems. There are special filters in these glasses that enhance some colors while filtering out others, hence making it easier for you to distinguish between colors. The EnChroma glasses were launched in the beginning of September 2012 at the Vision Expo West in Las Vegas, but it’s still not clear when they will be available for purchase. Moreover, the cost of these lenses is also unstated.
