So called Fanny/Fingerpainting, this giant portrait pictured below was made in 1985; the picture of artist’s wife’s late grandmother, Fanny. Close used his fingerprints to make the entire painting. It was made possible by adjusting the amount of pigment he used and applying different pressure on different places.
