5. Burger King – Left-handed Burger
Burger King’s “Left-Handed Whopper” became a sensation a many customers lined up at the fast-food chain only to later be reminded that it was April Fools’ Day. In 1998, Burger King place a full-page advert in USA Today that advertised its”new” left-handed whopper. The details of the ad shared that all the condiments of the new burger were rotated 180 degrees for left-handed diners. They announced later that evening – “Everyone knows that it takes two hands to hold a Whopper!”
