4. BBC – Spaghetti Harvest
Another BBC classic! Once upon a time in 1957, viewers of show called Panorama were shown of spaghetti growing on trees. In the three-minute segment, farmers said to be located in Switzerland were seen prickling freshly grown spaghetti. It was called the Swiss Spaghetti Harvest. According to the commentator, the success of the crop was attributed to both an unusually mild winter and to the “virtual disappearance of the spaghetti weevil.”
