Check Out This Photographer’s Take on Equality in Society

Equality in the society comes in different forms. It can mean so many things for different people and can manifest itself in a number of ways. And with today’s modern society, the gap between these polar opposites are becoming more and more evident–and this is why photographer Mark Laita decided to remind us that we are, first and foremost, made to be just as special as the rest of the world with his book aptly named ‘Created Equal’.

All these shots aim to show certain parallelisms in the society and how the environment, circumstances, and even fate made us to be different from one another–but at the same time, just the same as well. This is such a strong body of work and shows all the perfections, imperfections, assets, and flaws of all these people in a raw and realistic black and white setting.
