The Street Level Heroes
While The Avengers care mostly about cosmic level threaths, The Defenders take care of a deep and extensive street-level threat. To be specific, one that affects the city of New York. It all started with Daredevil, later being expanded with another hit series of a conflicted detective named Jessica Jones. After this, Harlem’s bullet proof hero Luke Cage entered the scene. Finally, Iron Fist was released causing controversial due to its cultural themes and lead cast. Now, all these stories clash with one another and a new team will be formed in The Defenders.
