2. Why was the holiday created?
Halloween celebrates the end of harvest. It was also believed by the Gaels – an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to northwestern Europe, October 31st as the day Halloween is celebrated is thought to also mark as the day that the worlds of the living and the dead get a little blurry and the dead would come back to life to cause trouble to the living. In order to scare the dead, humans have to wear costumes and masks.
