The Top 10 Worst Action Movies

3. “Into the Sun” (2005)

The annals of the action genre are littered with a disproportionate number of people who might well suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Written by, directed by, and starring Steven Seagal, “Into the Sun” ranks as one of the worst movies ever made and a document that Seagal’s psychiatrist would no doubt have a field day with. It follows from these premises that “Into the Sun” is therefore one of the worst action movies ever made and should only be seen by those who would learn from its cinematic errors.

2. “Judge Dredd” (1994)

While “Judge Dredd” is certainly entertaining, it is also remarkably comical in its demonstration of Sylvester Stallone’s penchant for mangling his lines. Hearing Stallone mutter, “I am the law!” into a tiny microphone attached to his helmet is a sound no movie fan worth their salt should miss.

1. “Mitchell” (1975)

Lampooned by “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” “Mitchell” may hold a claim to being the least charming movie ever made. Starring a listless Joe Don Baker, who seems to have the screen presence here of a bowl of pudding, “Mitchell” is a must-watch film if you’re interested in exactly how a movie should not be directed; “Mitchell” makes “Poochinski” look like it was crafted by Ingmar Bergman.
