Before starting, you need to upgrade your iPad 2 to iOS 4.3.3 as older firmwares are still to be added in JailbreakMe 3.0.

- Firstly you need to go to mobile safari on your iPad 2.
- You have to write the following URL in the address bar: www. Jailbreakme.com.
This will open up the JailbreakMe website.
- You need to press the free button written under the Cydia icon on the page.
- After that you will see the green colored button i.e. Install on the same page under the Cydia icon.
As you press install you will see that Cydia starts downloading on your iPad 2 just as other applications are downloaded through the App Store.
