The edible nail polish product was developed in collaboration with the company that supplies KFC with its blend of herbs and spices, specially for their Hong Kong chains. The flavors of the nail polishes are ‘Original’ and ‘Hot & Spicy’. The natural spices and the two fried chicken recipes that are made by KFC at its restaurants are used to create the flavor of the limited-edition nail polishes.
An employee of Ogilvy & Mather, Anna Mugglestone, says: “Yes, it’s actually a real thing. It tastes like chicken. It’s crazy.”
