There are four main types of Coffee Beans.

Although for some, they’re almost the same, coffee beans has four main types and are different from each other: Arabica, Robusta, Excelsa, and Liberica. So what’s the difference between these four types of beans? Let’s start with Arabica. Also known as Arabian Coffee or “Coffee Shrub of Arabia” Arabica is the world’s most consumed coffee – This is what most coffee shops would serve. Although Arabica beans make up to about 60% of the world’s coffee consumption, it’s more expensive than another type of seeds which is Robusta. Unlike Arabica, Robusta is more resistant to pests and diseases. That’s probably the reason why it’s 50% cheaper than Arabica – despite the higher caffeine content. A unique floral and fruity aroma – Liberica is also another type of beans that grows in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Some describe it as having a woody, smoky, nutty taste. Exelsa- recently reclassified as a type of Liberica represents 7% of the world’s coffee consumption. It grows mostly in Southeast Asia and has a dark, fruity and tart taste.

Decaf is not coffee free.

You read that right. Decaf is not coffee free. It’s called decaf because it has gone through the decaffeination or a process of caffeine removal from the coffee beans. However, not 100% of caffeine is removed – So technically, decaf is not 100% coffee free. Only about 97% of caffeine is removed, so you’re left with 3% on your cup.

Things To Try Before You Die

“What will you do if you’re not afraid?”

This question from the book “Who Moved My Cheese” by Doctor Spencer Johnson will make you pause and think. There are a lot of things that we want to do. But fear stops us from doing what we want. Most of us have been probably wanting to quit our jobs and just live life to the fullest. But we can’t, I mean we can but it would be too difficult to adjust. Every time we want to do one thing, we always wonder what’s ahead. We’re pressured on ‘what ifs’. What if something bad will happen? What if we can’t pay our bills anymore? What if we can’t find a better job? We worry – in fact too much on what the future lies.
But then what if you only have a few weeks to live. Will you be brave enough to try new things?
Here we gather some of the things that await you if you let go of fear and just well..carpe diem

They attach it to rocks where they sleep to regain energy and also- stargaze. What could be better than you hanging above ground while looking for some constellations!

If you ever find yourself visiting Australia, you might as well head to Darwin where you can find the Cage of Death. In Crocosaurus Cove, tourists are given the chance to have a close interaction with what else, crocodiles! Tourists are placed in a glass tank where they’d be lowered down to where the crocodiles are waiting. To add more fun, meat is placed on the glass tank to attract the crocodiles to go near to where.. you are. Just pray though that the glass will not be broken else, crocs will go food tripping. Of course, we’re kidding. Pretty sure it’s safe though.

Latin Phrases Tattoo Ideas

Getting a tattoo design  is something that should require a lot of thinking as the mark lives on forever. Although nowadays, there are already various  ways  to have the tattoo removed, we don’t want to end up paying a lot of money and going through another  pain  just to have it removed.

One technique of coming up with a tattoo  is to think of what inspires you  most. If you’re a musician it can be a musical instrument or if you’re a writer, it can be a pen. Or it can also be a wonderful quote or a Latin phrase.

Latin is a great idea for a tattoo as it is wonderful language that ancient great philosophers used and it sounds romantic and poetic. Now called a “dead language” , considering it as a tattoo will certainly put life to what really matters.

Here are the Latin phrases for your first or next tattoo.

Dum spiro spero

This  is a Latin Phrase derived from two ancient writers, Theocritus and Cicero. In English, it translates to “While I breathe, I hope”. This would work as reminder for each of us  not give up on our dreams  no matter where life would lead us. That, while still alive there’s always hope. This is another way to say, continue living.

Quod me non necat me certe confirmat

This interesting Latin phrase translates to “That which does not kill me makes me stronger” in English. This is certainly a great tattoo idea  for anyone who had gone through a  difficult battle in life but chose to focus instead on the lessons from that experience and used that to become a better person.

Alis  Volat Propriis

If you’re a strong and independent woman/man   who believes that you can do things on your own and is not dependent to anyone or any thing, this tattoo might be for you. This phrase means “She flies with her own wings” Although it makes use of the pronoun “she”, this phrase is gender neutral. It just made use of “she’ as this phrase was originally meant to describe a nation.

Sed anima plus est quam manere

Some days, we consider living as existing. We wake up, go through our daily activities, end the day and go back to the same cycle. But it that really what life means? This phrase might be an awakening call for us to realize that “Life is more than merely staying alive”.

Sed ego laboro supersunt

Although this phrase might have a simple and straightforward meaning which means “I struggle but I’ll survive”, This will absolutely be a great tattoo for people who wants  to be reminded to live on. Struggle is part of our life. Without it,life’s going to be boring. In the case of movies, the protagonist has experience struggles to make the movie interesting. In  real life,  hardships are needed for us to feel alive.

Natura nihil frustra facit

There are a lot of things that we don’t understand. When a bad thing happens, we begin to ask Why? This even to a point where we challenge God’s existence. “Nature Does Nothing in Vain”  means everything happens for a reason. What we are experiencing today may be something that will help us prepare for what’s to come.
