Its a fact that weather plays an important role in our living style and comfort level through out the year. Imagine houses that could transform according to the weather or seasons, so that you can enjoy every every sunset and sunrise right from your bed room.
Well the wait for these fairy tale houses is over as UK designers David Ben Grünberg and Daniel Woolfson have successfully developed such shape shifting houses. The whole idea was an inspiration from Henry Dudeney’s mathematical formula, the Haberdasher’s Puzzle that allows division of an equilateral triangle into four parts that can then be reconfigured to form a square. Based on the same concept, these designers have made the house to fold into eight different shapes. The original concept was to draw such houses for people living in extreme harsh conditions in Lapland, but these perfectly build houses can be used in any part of the world. The designers are calling them “The Dynamic D*Haus”. The model of such house is currently being displayed at London’s Anise Gallery.
