Best Way To Honor Steve Jobs

The shock of losing a loved one is full of grief and takes a long period to recover. Very few people in this world met Steve Jobs in person but almost everyone has felt the loss. This is only because of the fact that this man taught us how to live a better life, how we have an opportunity to reach out for a life beyond the one we know, one that forces us to summon our strengths, to  be bold enough to reject what others believe is true and right, and become the people only our most honest and daring selves can be. Once we learn to live our lives like this, we will not only be living for ourselves but for the betterment of humankind.

At Stanford’s commencement ceremony in the year 2005, he said:

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Therefore, in order to honor Steve’s life, we should live a more courageous and a more honest life and if we succeed to do so, sooner or later, our lives will become meaningful.
