God Father Sculpture Exclusively Built With Matchsticks

Artists usually portray things they love in order to express their affiliation, the language they use makes it all special. Different artists have different mediums to do so, Croatian artist Tomislav Horvat loves the Godfather series and his medium of art is matchsticks, he amazed the world with his unique sculpture of Al Pacino as Don Michael Corleone.

I presume this man is one of the most patient people in the world; it’s like placing pixels with your hand to make a complete picture. This particular sculpture of Al Pacino as Don Corleone sitting in his iconic armchair took 19 months to complete.

The whole sculpture is made out of 117,000 matchsticks, but most of them were used to create the armchair (68,000).  Bravo!
