Some artists make use of edibles such as eggs or bananas; others turn their body into a canvas. But here’s a guy who uses dust as paint and cars as canvas, recreating complex urban skylines and landscapes through the dust accumulated on the surface of cars.
During his on-duty hours in streets of Azerbaijan’s capital, parking attendant Rafael Veyisov wipes off the dust on cars with his fingers, outlining the shapes of tall buildings and birds flying along the skyline. He usually illustrates real urban cities, but sometimes he also creates some ‘out of the box’ visuals.
Astonished by his talent, the car owners who park their vehicles in Rafael’s parking area on a daily basis mostly leave their cars dirty just to see what he will come up with, and photograph his work.
