According to a new survey, maximum enterprise employees today in the world consider iPhone as their smartphone of choice. 2011 is the year in which iPhone has beaten BlackBerry for the first time in this segment of the market. The report released by iPass claims that during 2011, 45 percent of the enterprise workers owned an iPhone, whereas, 32 percent owned a Blackberry
The percent of enterprise workers owning an iPhone increased by 14.9 percent in last one year, whereas, BlackBerry’s percentage decreased by 2.3%.The report finds that the the decline in Blackberry users was primarily due to the growing demand of smartphones in the workplace.
The report reads that on asking business employees about what their smartphone choice would be in the year 2012, 18 percent said iPhone, while only 2.3 percent said Blackberry.
