7. Guatemala City Sinkhole (USA)

This modest speculate took the attention recently in the last year in Guatemala. When the tropical storm woke up which had been growing ever since, it was flourished by the surrounding buildings in its vicinity and took up the humongous size; even shoveling in rocks and miscellaneous debris has been unsuccessful to plug up the swelling crisis. The specific case was named as “Sinkhole”; a sinkhole occurs when soil layers underneath the top layer become too damp to support the inundating heaviness above and ultimately give way. The stress applied by the above layers is called the Insitu stresses due to their own weight and once the development starts in the area it adds to the Insitu stress giving rise to additional stresses.  The result is a hole that resembles a bottomless pit that leads straight to Hell as observed from the images it looks like a home of a giant alien creature living beneath the earth.

6. Smog over L.A (USA)

Smog; the word is derived from a combination of two different definitions “Smoke” and “Fog”, resembling very thick clouds of filth and dirt. The Smog of the L.A is produced by the heavy emissions of industrial gases and traffic pollution, very dangerous to our Ozone layer and human health and L.A has observed the heaviest Smog of all time.

5. The Ruins of Pompeii (Rome)

Pompeii was an ancient city founded in the 6th century BC ruled by Greeks, Etruscans, Samnites and Romans. Under the Roman control city prospered a lot becoming a port and then evolving into a resort destination, evidences show there were villas, temples, theaters and baths built throughout the city. Accounts also suggest that it inhabited around 20,000 citizens. In AD 63 an earthquake struck the city and provided a huge damage to the city, attempts were made to repair the damaged parts and reconfigure its design but that was not destined in their favor, on August 24, 79 AD a nearby volcano of Mount Vesuvius erupted and blanketed the city in cinders and ash. The city was then discovered by Domenico Fontana in the year 1599 while he was working on a hydraulics project, then in 1748 a Spanish military engineer made an attempt to excavate the city and discover the secrets of Pompeii. The ruins provided archeologists with unique discoveries regarding the lifestyle, daily routine, how did they earn and their behavior with criminals.



4. Little Boy’s Shadow (Japan)


Ironically, given the name to the mass destruction and massacre led by the United States during the end of World War II, the atomic bomb dropped on the Hiroshima named “Little Boy” which destroyed all of city in a mere minutes. Melted and cleaned out everything present in Hiroshima. The radiations emitted from the radioactive material of Little Boy crippled generations of Japan.  These unhealthy effects of radioactive material of Atomic bomb are named as the Shadow of Little Boy.  For generations the offspring of Humans, Animals and even Plants got affected.


3. Ground Zero (USA)

Referred to the mishap that shook the whole world and for the cause Muslims of whole world are paying a huge price up till now, the 9/11 destruction made it 24/11 for Muslims. Every year, just to memorize that tragic event of Twin Towers different controversial documentaries are played by the media. Recently a cemented tribute for the memory that fall prey to the massive destruction known as the Ground Zero.

2. Chernobyl (Ukraine)

In the race to become the most powerful, more viable, more successful, more authoritative and stable, the world is turning toward the Nuclear Research and Power. The Nuclear Power is the most cheap power generation technology if it got controllable and in doing so some of the countries suffered very badly. In 1986, the world’s worst nuclear reactor catastrophe occurred in Ukraine, as the power plant exploded and unconfined a profusion of radioactive material, which is still killing and crippling people to this day. Soviet Union was a victim of this destruction and got ripped itself due to this explosion of Nuclear Power Plant.

1. Auschwitz (Russia)

Auschwitz also known as the Gate to Hell, became the slaughter area where the biggest numbers of European Jews were murdered during the Holocaust. After an investigational gassing there in September 1941 of 850 scrawny and ill prisoners, massacre became a daily schedule. By middle 1942, mass gassing of Jews using Zyklon-B began at Auschwitz, where annihilation was conducted on an industrial scale with some estimates running as high as three million persons eventually killed through gassing, starvation, disease, shooting, and burning.
