Apple has released Mac OS X 10.7.1, an update to its recently-released Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion” operating system. The update, a 79.1 megabyte download, features the following stated fixes and changes:
- Address an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when playing a video in Safari.
- Resolve an issue that may cause system audio to cease working when using HDMI or optical audio out.
- Enhance the reliability of Wi-Fi connections.
- Resolve an issue that avoids transfer of your data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion.
The update can be located, downloaded and installed via the Software Update feature in Mac OS X.
An Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.7 is required to install and run Mac OS X 10.7.1.
