China About To Open Its iPhone Market To Competition?

In China prosperity is arising big time by quietly moving away from communism and passionately embracing the free market. Most important fact is that Chinese consumers have money to spend and they fancy smartphones.

Both Google’s Android and Apple’s iPhone are in immense demand, however, Apple has slight advantage as the iPhone is currently available from the largest phone company in the country, China Unicom.

On the other hand, China Telecom is the third largest phone company in the country and they are well aware that China Unicom has an exclusive agreement with Apple. They are also aware of the fact that it is expiring this year. So China Telecom has already started its negotiations with Apple to offer the phone when it becomes available.
