Special Forces specialize in counter-terrorism, reconnaissance, and sabotage and have the honor of being the most elite among the forces. They undergo extremely rigorous training for years sometimes, before they are ready and when they are done with the training, they can be easily classified as among the toughest and most competent men in the military. Today, we take a look at the best Special Forces from around the world.
No 10. Spetsnaz
Spetsnaz is a general term for “special forces” in Russian. They are the equivalent of US Green Berets and instead of undergoing regular training like the other special forces around the world, the Spetsnaz endure pain through punishment daily throughout their training.
The Spetsnaz injure each other, breaking ribs, fingers and vertebrae to heal later on, only to get punished even further. They claim that pain can’t be avoided, so they are taught to enjoy it.
No 9. French Naval Commandos
The French Naval Commandos consists of approximately 500 members. They are called the bérets verts, meaning Green Berets. Having one the toughest training in the world, the Naval commandos were formed during World War II.
The Naval Commandos consist of 6 units: Hubert, Trepel, de Montfort, de Penfentenyo, Jaubert, and Kieffer. Each unit is trained for specific tasks such as sea combat, exfiltration, canine units, or long range fire support.

What we need to look at is the state of mental and physical preparedness, courage and commitment. Comparing the western special forces having the edge of body armour, the weaponry, the technological support and the back up with the pakistani, indian or sri lankan forces who dont have such facilities available and yet perform remarkable feats of bravery, makes it sure that special forces of this region are by far the superior than any force in the world; give the SAS, Seals or any other western an assault rifle, pistol, dagger and some food and ask for a successful operation. They will laugh at you and then start crying!!!

canadian JTF2 are by far the best. They proved it in nato special force competition many times. They win 1e or 2e place with the british SAS.
The bravest fighter are God-fearing Muslims kids, women who dare become “suicide bombers”, no other special forces units dare tie bombs to their waist and die for God. Amazing, but sad that they have to sacrifice themselves for some distorted beliefs / idealogy.

This list is biased. When you look at a commando you are looking for a certain type of a soldier who is special in a way and his abilities way high above the other soldiers. A soldier who has exceptional mental, physical and intelligence stregnths. One who has extremely high standards in getting any task fulfiled in any enviroment globally, be it paratrooping, reconaissance or direct enemy engagement. Even razor sharp when in combat and can change the game within a short period of time. This is the list:

A top special forces commando must be razor sharp and lethal even unarmed. US forces rely more on technology so I don’t rank them the best. But I rank the best soldier ro be one who can still be razor sharp and effective even without technology. The saying goes on; take off the technology from a seal and he is an ordinary soldier!
