You know when you’re getting set up with a friend’s friend who’s described as having “a great personality?” That’s the story with the Morgan Aero 8. But any automaker that can do so well for so long with so little change is doing something right. The Aero 8 is a $74,000 modern interpretation of an old-school British roadster. Something’s bound to be lost in translation, no? Well, if it weren’t for the curious tail and polarizing nose, we’d call it a complete success. It’s still fun to drive, and the classic design elements are still seen and unseen. Morgan still uses ash wood in the superstructure, as they have for decades. Oh well, it works, and the BMW V8 is good for 325 horses. Overall, it’s a surprising performer — with a great personality — and earns an honorable mention with us
