Nice article and some cool and pricey planes here for sure! I remember hearing somewhere that the B2 Spirit would have been “cheaper to build in solid gold” after all the R&D, development and production costs. At $2.4 billion I can see why! I didn’t realise the Raptor was as much as $350 million though? Thought it was more in the $122 million range? Not that that’s cheap of course!

Left out the E-3 which was the most expensive aircraft until it was passed by the B-2.
