This app lets you choose one of 18 famous politicians, from Hillary Clinton to Sarah Palin, to bounce off a trampoline–in the Oval Office, no less. The goal is to control the tilt of the phone and bouncing pol to pop balloons floating on the top of the Oval Office with their heads. (The app even includes a pantsless Bill Clinton caricature.) Apple plays it safe when it comes to ‘defemation’ and the App Store didn’t want to take chances.

The ‘Baby Shaker’ app concept was simple: ‘stop the incessant crying of an infant pictured on screen by violently shaking the iPhone, at which point two red “x” marks appear over the baby’s eyes,’ explains CNET. Although iTunes originally approved the app, they later reconsidered their decision, and pulled the infanticide-simulating Baby Shaker from the App Store.

Love the rund up – I just got done listing my top 10 games!

    Take a gander!

    C :)

  2. creators tweaked the premise and released a G-rated version called ”Candy Wars”.

  3. Raj says:

Can’t beleive there are people stupid enough to buy stuff like ‘I am Rich’.

  4. Ashleigh says:

WTF at #3!?!? are you serious? Baby shaker? that is the worst app on the list! #3 should’ve been at #1. Killing babies isn’t funny let alone abusing it. That is like seeing an app for butchering puppies and calling it just for laughs. >:(

  5. Blancheys says:

LOL @ Candy Wars. Silly people.

  6. Office games says:

The baby shaker is actually disgusting and should have been taken off, but hurl shoe at bush – why not ?

  7. J says:

What happened to freedom of speech?

  8. No More says:

Thank GOD!, -I- own an Android phone ;)

  9. LOL says:

nothing should be banned, apple is just afraid of losing a few hundred bucks cuz a few people wont buy them because of “offensive” apps. I, for onr, would buy every single one of themnot including “I am Rich” . and @Ashleigh, i think the baby shaker app would be funny, as well as the puppy butchering one you suggested.

  10. Alan B says:

    @J

Apple is selling these from their store, and they have the right to decide what they want to sell, period. Freedom of speech (expression) does not apply in this case.

I don’t want to live in a G-Rated world in which everything must be tame enough for a kindergarten classroom. I’ll be moving over to the Android platform now that we *finally* have a viable alternative.

  11. Alan C says:

Google has remotely wiped apps from people’s phones, or did you miss that news? This is something Apple hasn’t done. Android phones also have remote install capability (for Google, that is, not you, the user).

Android is full of malware, have fun with your infected Android phone!

  12. Chris says:

People get insulted by anything. Apple is just playing is safe and being a coward and the people who take offense to any of this needs to take a look at the rest of the world. There’s a lot more serious things to get offended at than some silly, immature iphone apps. Jeez…

  13. The Baby Shaker App was not made to simulate infanticide in a horrific way. It was made by a group that was against Infanticide, though it obviously came out poorly, and horribly misinterpreted.

  14. same guy says:

Not offended, but baby shaker is.. well.. weird.

  15. missbridjet says:

dear mr/ms: lol and mr/ms j and other *danger* supporters:
    what the hell!!!
freedom of speech??? so why dont we run it onlyl in your area or home as anytime commercials and open air music/adds and let it be visible to the children baies and parents around just you from you and see the reaction you get and see if you want that type of reedom to be spoken so openly then! so I am sure you are one of those peoople tht go around saying yeah shoottings on campus at the junior high!, horray for that little kid with the gun…it was no mistake tht was a good Job that kid hit an actual live person not a wall or tree or something, so..yea youth

  16. WifiFoFum & WifiTrak??? Were reaally good apps to find more wifi network

  17. Wilbur says:

For all those into banning things, because it does not appeal to them, or offends them, I say then move to a country like Iran or somewhere other than the USA. We have something that everyone should be able to use, and that is their OWN Judgement and Common Sense on what to buy or watch or own. NO ONE is forced to buy watch or play any of the app’s and Apple is one of the worst offenders of placing limits on what can and cant be made sold or developed for thier products. Banning things is just downright UNAMERICAN.
    END OF RANT …

  18. S says:

Babyshaker is disgusting. Every image we see showing hurting babies, kids, people, animals is wrong. It’s not normal and people need to get that. Stop normalising violence and power tripping. It all adds to violence.

  19. S says:

Dear Wilbur, A ur a dick. Yes freedom of speech, but lets support with things we want to see in our societies. Not constant images of sexualiising, volence, child abuse, etc. B What planet r u on if u think common sense is common (esp in USA)WTF?? family breakdown, limited social skills taught at school, meddia, where do you want people to get educated with conscience and values of non-harming and respect for others and laws?

  20. Guest says:

O come on they r stupid apps u can buy sexually explicit,& violent games in the stores y not on iTunes. Baby shaker in real life yea wrong on an app completely acceptable it’s causing no harm to anyone or anything. If u don’t want want kids playing that stuff then the parents should take advantage of the parental controls at their disposal.

  21. adventure_of_link says:

Zombie Invasion app should NOT have been B&… just as a heads-up, my college has a SNAP alert notification, and one of their clever posters shows a Zombie Attack (except it’s not a gorey as this though).

And so far, no one has brought guns, weapons, etc to campus… *knocks on wood*

    Damn prudish Americans…

  22. pizza says:

i guess i need a psych eval because i thought baby shaker is great, good humor. its a joke you douchebags its not real. also i like her idea of a puppy game that would be funny. i would pay 10 bucks for the baby shaker app if it came to android.

  23. sammy says:

Not offended, but baby shaker is.. well.. weird.

  24. Kerin says:

What happened to freedom of speech?

  25. Mr Fallout says:
